Imagine there’s no Heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one

Do we have any Beatles fans here? Please leave a comment.
I LOVE these posts about John Lennon. So sad that we lost him 1/2 through his life.
I saw the question you posted on the internet (FVMC blog). And I want to answer the question : Why is “will you” form used in this song? Why not “Are you going to…”? T
Because ‘are you going to ‘ mean sb has a plan to do sth. Also ‘are you going to’ means sb is subjective to think about sth, but not the ‘will ‘. According the song, the singer asked sb ‘will you feed me’,just the singer asked sb. The singer was objective to ask sb .
That’s all, thx~~~
