Dear Instructors,
Thank you very much for attending the workshop on Saturday. During the Grammar presentation, Nancy Simpson mentioned several good websites that might help you in lesson planning:
http://www.jc-schools.net/tutorials/gameboard.htm best ever site for free games templates, trivia cards on all kinds of topics, fun graphics.
http://www.elllo.org/months/weeks/games.htm fabulous listening exercises with photo cues, interesting topics. (This is just one part of a huge, multi-level site.)
Games require a bit of time to create, but is well worth it because the can be reused semester-after-semester and are excellent learning tools that allow student-directed learning (with casual instructor oversight) on a difficult topic.

Seasonal: here’s a fun site that allows students to “command” Santa to do a lot of silly things. If you type in a verb, Santa will demonstrate!

Thank you, Nancy!
