Class: Job Search Basics for Newcomers to the U.S.

The class Job Search Basics for Newcomers to the U.S. will be held at West Campus during the week of Oct 6 – 10 (M, T, W, F) from 1:30 – 4:30 in room 111. This class is designed for those students who do not have a high level of English or are not familiar with the U.S. job searching process. The class covers interviewing, reading and understanding job descriptions and advertisements, networking and labor laws.   Click here for a sample of other HRD classes (job skills training). This class is for high level students who have tested out of ESL, but need to increase their English business literacy and job skills. Class information is centered on career exploration and job search preparation.

Are you unemployed? Or “under-employed”?    Wake Tech HRD (Human Resources Development) classes can help you learn important job skills while you are looking for work.  These classes are aimed at native English speakers, but they will also be useful for advanced ESL students.
